We are very familiar with SWIFT international banking standards, and we have used Microsoft’s BizTalk SWIFT Accelerator for integrating systems. In addition, our developers have provided SWIFT training at community events such as the Midwest Connected Systems Users Group, demonstrating how one can implement industry standard banking solutions using the SWIFT accelerator.

In addition, our developers have implemented several transactional and workflow solutions at major banks and financial institutions within the U.S. The list below highlights a few of the solutions implemented by our team.

Problem:

The customer was a large bank that provided credit cards that could be used by their customers against their income tax refunds. The bank needed a way for their agents to assist their customers while at the same time, interact with legacy systems to retrieve current information and collaborate with their internal income tax experts when they had to answer their customers questions .

Solution:

We used Microsoft InfoPath forms that were standardized based on their requirements, and then integrated these forms with Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 for work flow management for collaborating with other internal employees as it related to their customers credit card or tax refund status. We also used Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009 to integrate with their back-end legacy systems using web services. BizTalk’s SharePoint adapter was used to connect the SharePoint work flows and also to provide additional business process management (BPM) capabilities, such as business rules engine (BRE) for easily changing rule parameters (e.g. interest rates) and business activity monitoring (BAM) for

Problem:

A major Midwestern retail bank needed a way to automate bill payment transactions for their retail customers, in addition to completing these batch transactions within a given period of time so that they met service level agreements.

Solution:

Our developers implemented an online bill payment solution using Microsoft BizTalk Server and custom .NET based Visual Basic components. With BizTalk’s strength in transactional processing, we were able to meet their strict service level agreements, and were able to ensure batch processes successfully completed within a short period of time while processing several thousand nightly bill payments. BizTalk was also used to connect to external payment processors and BAM was used to tracking every transaction that flowed through BizTalk providing the customer with visibility and auditing capabilities.
