We are seeking an Azure Infrastructure Consultant to join our Infrastructure practice. This candidate will work in a team environment on a major transformation and cloud migration project and provide expertise in the areas of on premise and cloud-based networking and infrastructure, cybersecurity, and access management.

•  Design and Implementation: Architect and implement highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, and networking components.
•  Cloud Migration: Lead or assist in cloud migration projects, moving workloads from on-premises environments to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and a seamless transition.
•  Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Bicep, ARM, and Terraform to automate resource provisioning and management.
• Networking: Design and implement robust networking solutions in Azure, including VNETs, subnets, network security groups, load balancers, and VPN configurations.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Set up and configure monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights) to ensure the performance, availability, and cost optimization of Azure infrastructure.
•  Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for securing cloud infrastructure, including identity management (Azure AD), network security, and governance (Azure Policies, RBAC).
• Disaster Recovery: Design and implement disaster recovery strategies and business continuity solutions using Azure Site Recovery (ASR) and other Azure-native DR services.
• Cost Management: Ensure efficient use of Azure resources and help implement cost optimization strategies through Azure Cost Management and Reservations.
• Documentation: Produce high-quality technical documentation and infrastructure diagrams, ensuring all solutions are well-documented for future scalability and maintenance. Support: Provide ongoing support for Azure infrastructure environments, including troubleshooting and resolution of operational issues.

Skills & Qualifications

• Microsoft Certification is a MUST.
• At least 3 years hands on experience in Microsoft Azure cloud services design, migration, deployment, management, security, and audit. Programming experience in Bicep or scripting languages e.g. PowerShell, Terraform.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load-balancing, SMTP, VPN, Firewalls, IPS devices.
• Demonstrated knowledge of implementing Identity and access management systems, in particular Active Directory, group policies, single sign on and multifactor authentication.
• Shape a Proven track record and qualifications in the implementation of IT standards preferably ITIL.
